Senior Sales Planning Analyst (Remote)

The Sales Operations mission at HubSpot is to enable data-backed decisions that drive scaled growth and productivity. HubSpot is looking for a planning & data analyst who will work with global leaders to enable strategic decisions regarding sales headcount allocation, revenue targets, go-to-market strategy and more. 

 

This role reports directly to the Manager of Sales Planning and will help provide actionable foresight to Sales Leadership. You will be responsible for developing quantitative models that drive scaled growth, optimizing business processes and assisting in cross-functional project management and execution.

 

 

In this role, you'll get to:

 

  • Build complex quantitative models to identify opportunities for optimization, growth and investment.
  • Leverage automation tools/programming languages to optimize business processes and solve problems
  • Support internal executives, the global sales team, and the Sales Operations team with detailed visibility into all aspects of the headcount and revenue plan
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing and Customer Success to ensure smooth operation of the business and consistent achievement of the operational plan and growth goals
  • Work cross-functionally to support actionable, measurable projects and programs that accelerate growth and improve front-line employee effectiveness

Responsibilities

  • 4+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of success; industry experience in sales, customer operations, or management consulting preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion about the role of data in helping solve complex questions
  • Comfortability with SQL and/or data analytics and statistical tools such as R or Python
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment and interacting with senior stakeholders from a range of business functions
  • The ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • BA / BS, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, science, economics, computer science etc

 

 

Above and beyond qualifications: 

 

  • Knowledge of Anaplan planning software
  • Can use Business Information (BI) Applications (Looker/Tableau/Qlik etc) to create data models, reports and dashboard
