As part of an Agile SCRUM setup you will act as Chapter Lead for Android software developers and you will be responsible for the performance cycle and for the personal development of chapter members on their journey to mastery. Also, it would be great if you would create a healthy and motivating work environment for your team.
As a Chapter Lead, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure the development process is optimized, the best tools and frameworks are used and the team members are collaborating efficiently.
Responsibilities

- At least 5 years of development experience on Google Android platform using both Java and Kotlin with perfect knowledge of OOP and other programming algorithms
- Advanced knowledge of frameworks, common libraries, design patterns and coding standards commonly used in developing Android apps
- Solid understanding of processes and tools used in development and delivery of Android applications (Versioning, CI/CD, Unit Testing, Feature Toggling etc.)
- Extensive portfolio of medium to complex applications, involvement in developing financial applications would be a plus
- Experience as part of product teams that develop software features in an Agile way of working , using mostly SCRUM methodology
- Ability to lead a team of 5+ software engineers by setting personal objectives and mentoring them continuously to achieve their best potential
