As the AMEA Marketing Director you will be responsible for leading our AMEA organization in achieving multi-year above market revenue growth and aggressive margin expansion. You will define the requirements for the AMEA marketing function and set the strategic direction for the Gilbarco Veeder-Root AMEA business. Ensuring the team is meeting our customers’ current and future expectations while aligning organizational capability with the strategic delivery. To achieve this you will be responsible for defining and implementing product roadmaps (working with Global Product Management as well as other groups where appropriate), brand strategies, developing and managing partner relationships, commercial product launches and selling, setting and executing upon sales campaigns and commercial growth strategies.
What You Will Do
- Assess the needs for a Regional AMEA Marketing function, build out the team structure and business case for approval and complete the hiring of these critical positions.
- Lead implementation of the strategic direction and plan for the AMEA market, including understanding, segmenting and analyzing markets and market needs
- Set product line strategy, identification and sizing of market opportunities, having detailed product road mapping and commercial execution plans to address and win opportunities, ongoing financial management and delivery of targets.
- Continually refine strategies to ensure the organization is pursuing the most promising and valuable business and respond to competitors and technology trends.
- Develop and execute successful launch of new products. These activities include leading the marketing team accountable for developing campaign strategies and tactical plans, working with sales, service and marketing personnel to execute campaigns, and coaching and holding teams accountable for delivering[CD1] on success.
- Along with core product marketing and commercialization, own product and solution standard pricing levels.
- Drive marketing communications to enhance our brand, ensure reach and retailer awareness, drive campaigns, and lead and manage trade shows and events.
- Own digital marketing and transformative marketing to do drive leads.
- Collect and disseminate regularly market intelligence and implications, along with conducting assessment of competitors
- Hold engagement sessions with employees across the team and ensure that engagement actions are being delivered and driving improvements
- Own the funnel, and formalize into product roadmaps, business plans and a program pipeline, including internal and partner-led growth (working with Global Product Management where appropriate)
- Jointly with operations, set detailed targets for lead time and other operational performance factors and monitor / countermeasure as needed.
- Lifecycle analysis of product line and SKU performance to drive pricing, SKU management, and product extension/enhancement decisions.
- Jointly with service, develop account strategies for managed maintenance, extended warranty, and other services
- Develop talent within the marketing team by coaching and growing the team and recruiting new talent, as needed.
- Comply with the GVR HSE Policy, as well as the Vontier Standards of Conduct.

Qualifications
- University degree, Business, Marketing or Science/Technical discipline required
- MBA/Diploma in Marketing (CIM) desirable

- Setting the AMEA Marketing Strategy
- Assessing and synthesizing strategy from market intelligence
- Establishing and leveraging growth-oriented relationships with 3rd parties
- Distributor Channel Marketing and B2B Marketing function
- Working within a Manufacturing environment

- Number of raw leads, MQLs, SQLs and financial value of incremental Funnel Adds from MQLs
- Approval of the business case and time to hire / staff up full team.
