This is an exciting time for a Product Owner to join us at Tribal working on Tribal Edge our new cloud-based Student Management system. You will be based in either our Sheffield, Norwich, or Hessle office working with our product teams to shape Tribal Edge. 

As a PO at Tribal you will contribute to roadmap planning for our current product portfolio and so experience of the higher or further education sector is beneficial, but by no means essential. 

The role 

We see this role as that of a true Product Owner, working in an agile software development environment to ensure that our products continually exceed the requirements of the customers. On a day to day basis you will be ensuring that product requirements and user stories are clearly defined, documented, and articulated to facilitate the production of a clear roadmap. You will define and manage backlogs whilst also playing a key role in articulating and evangelising the unique value proposition of the product, so that it is clearly understood by key stakeholders.

What can you bring to the role? 

This role would be a great opportunity for seasoned Product Owners, or other individuals with experience in a product environment. You might be a learning technologist who feels confident they could quickly learn the fundamentals of product management, or alternatively someone with extensive analyst experience. Knowledge of digital innovation is highly advantageous. 

You will have good customer service skills, excellent organisation and planning skills and first class interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly form productive and effective relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly and effectively.
