Technical Marketing Manager
- Marketing and PR, Advertising and Creative Media Jobs
Description
Backblaze helps customers easily manage and serve the irreplaceable -- from COVID research data to Austin City Limits’ performances by Willie Nelson and the Foo Fighters. The ‘easily’ really matters because there are many extremely robust cloud storage providers out there, yet we’ve chosen to focus on ease-of-use for many businesses rather serving every edge case with added complexities for all businesses.
This is where you shine: we seek a strong Technical Marketing Manager who can help us bring our ease-of-use story to sophisticated technical buyers and developers who want to get deep into how Backblaze solutions can effectively serve their needs within their existing or ideal workflows. As a critical member of our product marketing team, you’ll directly enable our go-to-market strategy by leading development of mission-critical thinking and content that educates and excites IT, dev, and sysadmin prospects--with the framing, detail, and value they’ll need to know--and ultimately accelerates favorable lead/funnel outcomes.
Do you love to get into more technical concepts and details? And do you also love to then explain them in ways that motivate and help others? If so, and you’d also like to be part of a refreshingly open, ego-free, and diverse work environment, let’s talk.
This San Mateo-based position (when we can all safely return to the office) reports to our head of product marketing.
