As a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, you will be:
Business Development
- Assisting with annual plans for select Practice and Industry Groups
- Assisting in writing, editing and proofreading pitches, proposals and other communication materials related to marketing and business development initiatives
- Coordinating sponsorship-related deliverables, including: scheduling, logistics, internal participation, communication and follow-up activities
- Providing support to the Marketing and Business Development teams, as required
Deals and Cases
- Executing and supporting consistent and accurate collection, verification and reporting of key business information
- Tracking the Firm’s transaction and case information in the Deals & Cases Database
- Assisting with researching external information using various tools.
- Drafting and reviewing deal and case information for the Firm’s website.
- Liaising with and submitting transaction and case information quarterly and annually to third party reporting agencies and league tables, and monthly to external publications
- Working with members of Accounting and Records Management to fill information gaps related to transaction and case information
Market Recognition
- Developing first drafts of select directory submissions and adapt existing submissions for use with other ranking organizations. Coordinating ranking research interviews and develop interview preparation sheets. Making edits to submissions and coordinate approvals as required.
- Becoming the in-house expert on select directories.
- Researching directories and awards in order to update recommendations and assist in developing new ones.
- Assisting in the analysis and entry of submission results.
- Maintaining directory tracking budget sheet.
- Assisting with communication plans including drafting news announcements.
- Drafting and sending firm-wide emails regarding directory requests.
- Preparing and submitting directory listings, i.e. Global 100, Legal Alliance, Benefits and Pension Monitor, AML.
- Arranging interviews related to directories

- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or business development.
