Productive Playhouse is seeking Hausa to English translators for a large-scale short-term translation project. We invite candidates with near-expert knowledge of English and experience in consecutive or written translation and interpretation to join our team.

About Us:

Productive Playhouse provides a wide range of language services, including transcription, translation, and audio collection in various languages worldwide. As our client roster and services expand, we are seeking new team members in multiple areas.

Project Details:

• Translate videos from Hausa to English with 6 to 24-hour turnaround times.
• Start times may vary, including overnight for overseas team members.
• Videos contain sensitive content (employees can opt out from translating/watching at any time).
• Project volumes vary, with no guaranteed minimum work amount.
• Indicate availability for specific times to receive work requests.

We expect to have a number of different assignments over the coming months, and we hope you’ll consider becoming part of our special projects team!

Requirements:

• Professional translation/interpretation experience preferred
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Solid English grammar, orthography, and punctuation (a test is required)
• Responsiveness and access to email
• Web search skills
• Ability to onboard within two weeks
