The Translations Coordinator is responsible for applying translation industry best practices to propose and implement an effective translation process for the Auto Physical Damage division. The Translation Coordinator is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining the process across the division. Additionally, the Coordinator works with the translation vendor and other resources to maintain consistency and accuracy of translated materials.

• Coordinate with stakeholders across the division
• Collect and categorization of all current translations
• Research, Evaluate, and Maintain Localization Term Base
• Continuously improve translation process and procedures
• Conduct oversite to ensure procedures are followed
• Facilitate and/or conduct translations validation for various content sets
• Conduct Vendor quality management (track KPIs)
• Conduct Quarterly Business Review (QBR)
• Manage budget planning and PO coordination with Vendor Relations Manager
• Facilitate customer implementation planning
• Conduct new employee process training

Requirements

In order to successfully complete their duties, the Translation Coordinator needs to have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on languages or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Fluency in Canadian French
• Experience in implementing a new translation process across a moderately sized organization
