Freelance Translator (Urdu-English)

Description

The candidate will translate textbooks and educational materials that are written in Urdu to English. Instruction regarding IMPACT-se methodology will be provided to the successful candidates to provide basic analysis of the educational content. Paid hourly rate.

Responsibilities

  • Native Urdu speaker – MUST
  • Fluent English speaker – MUST
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Exceptional writing skills, great verbal communicator
  • Ability to work independently and deliver assignments in a timely manner
  • Experience as a translator of materials written in Urdu to English – a plus
  • Understanding of general Islamic Studies – a plus
