Description

Build and maintain relationships with key agency contacts, updating them on their contractual position and providing up to date insight into News UK advertising platforms forms a large part of the role. Collaborating internally with multiple teams across the Commercial Department to gain a wider understanding of our commercial opportunities plays an essential role in driving revenue through the deals.

Provide a number of vitally important reports for internal delivery to Sales Groups and external delivery to ad agencies.

Conduct analysis to contribute monthly reports for all Classified and Independent Agency Groups e.g. Havas, IPG, Lavery Rowe, Advertising Excellence.

Work with the Senior Sales Manager to negotiate Trading Deals across the Classified and Independent portfolio.

Take part in meetings held at ad agencies to provide contract delivery status and identify further advertising opportunities across the News UK portfolio.

Contribute to the monthly Circulation and Revenue report.

Contribute to ad hoc analysis that the Deal Team may require as part of negating processes.

Present reports to colleagues across many of News UK’s publishing platforms.

Collaborate with other departments e.g. Sales, Bridge Studio, Agency Development.
Responsibilities

Experience of using Excel to understand, manipulate and interrogate data.

Experience in data analysis.

Confident in both building and presenting presentations.

Able to building relationships and negotiation at a senior level.

Interest in the media industry and commercial trading models.
