Description

• Supporting the Programme Board, in providing a single point of reference for all projects within the programme.
• Producing complete and accurate reports as to the progress of the programme of work.
• Stakeholder management across all projects within the programme.
• Coaching and supporting project managers (dedicated or co-opted) for all projects within the programme.
• Managing adherence to agreed principles – project initiation, supplier engagement, reporting, etc.
• Coordinating resource requirements, and managing consequences of interdependencies and slippage.
• Maintaining programme level logs of risks, assumptions, issues and decisions, and escalating (from project logs, or to the Programme Board/Directors) as required.

Responsibilities

• Outstanding Project Manager Skills, delivering tech or data projects in a structured, multi-project, environment.
• Detail oriented and deadline driven.
• A proven ability to communicate effectively with other internal and external teams.
• Robust attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
• A good team player.
• Not essential, but formal programme or project management training (Agile, Waterfall, Prince2) would be beneficial.
