Description

  • Oversees the development and execution of a university wide branding initiative to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Liaises with university departments and faculties to ensure their inclusion into the brand initiative.
  • Develops detailed project plans to outline key assets, schedules, design and creative resources.
  • Develops budget for projects, coordinates financials and account requirements with appropriate offices, monitors costs at each stage of production and adjusts if necessary.
  • Monitors project process and re-negotiate schedules as necessary.
  • Oversees the accuracy and quality of the work produced.
  • Develops creative briefs and determines creative, photography, design and executional requirements for integrated campaigns, advertisements, marketing collateral, display materials, websites, etc.
  • Builds strong client relationships, manages feedback and provides clear direction for internal teams.
  • Provides support and strategic advice to clients, including campaign and brand planning, messaging, design, creative, etc.
  • Researches and monitors key industry developments and competitive activity to apply to the day-to-day development of client marketing programs.

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree program in Communications or Business with a major in Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • This position also requires a strong knowledge of managing complex brand program or campaign roll outs, in addition to great client management skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a busy advertising agency or similar environment is required. Agency experience is preferred.
