Interim Group Reporting Manager - REMOTE

Description

  • Supporting the Head of Group Reporting with the planning, preparation and delivery of the Group’s PLC-style Annual Report and Accounts for 2021 – see our 2020 report at: https://www.alterdomus.com/infomedia/brochures?media=706.
  • Preparation of high quality workpapers, processes and disclosures for significant FY21 transactions, including the reporting of several international M&A deals under IFRS 3 and our lease portfolio under IFRS 16.
  • Strategic analysis of long-term forecasts in support of liquidity / viability stress tests.
  • Delivery of financial reporting framework for our bespoke share-based payment schemes, including auditor liaison and Board reporting.
  • Liaison with our newly onboarded Group auditors and support for the audit.
  • Process through both the Q3 (interim) review and annual signoff.
  • Review and upgrades to the Group’s cash flow reporting workings, in conjunction with our consolidation manager.
  • Support with the continuing evolution in our internal reporting, including the quality of our monthly reporting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Qualified Accountant with 3+ years post-qualified experience in group finance roles, preferably with an understanding of listed company reporting and experience in an audit firm.
  • Possess a flexible and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High end financial reporting expertise (around IFRS, audit/financial reporting risks and disclosure quality).
  • An ability to communicate complex, abstract and judgemental topics clearly and effectively to bring clarity to the work of the financial reporting team.
  • Ability to collaborate across time zones, cultures and teams to solve the wider Finance team’s (and business’s) key challenges, building trust and confidence.
