PROJECT ASSISTANT (Human Resources)

Description

  • Assisting with recruitment and engagement/termination process.
  • Maintaining and updating HR systems by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Processing time and attendance records; updating attendance documentation for pay adjustments.
  • Issuing periodic and ad hoc reports.
  • Coordinating Travel arrangements for employees.
  • Assist with invoicing.
  • Filing, data-inputting, mail-handling and processing of documentation and other administrative tasks as the need arises.
  • Assisting with co-ordination of the training and development function.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum A level standard of education (candidates holding an MQF level 5 Award and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Enterprise, Business Administration or related discipline will be given preference.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation, regulations and processes would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pro-active and Organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Dependable, discreet & emphatic.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a can-do approach.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

We offer

Salary: €22,000 to €24,000 commensurate with experience & qualifications.
Work location: Msida
Definite contract of two-year duration.
Standard working hours 8.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday, one hour break in between. Flexi-time: IN 7:30 to 9.30 OUT 16.30 to 1830.

Summer concession: Wednesday & Friday half day.
