Description

Your objectives will be to help ensure product stays ahead of competitors in the market whilst meeting user demands to sustain user growth, to ensure the development team are tasked in accordance with company products and constraints, and to ensure the backlog is prioritised effectively and efficiently.

You will create, own, and manage the product roadmap extending outwards up to 18 months.

You will act as Product Owner with full responsibility for identifying the “what?” and the “why?” with users and managing them within the product roadmap.

You will be responsible for the creation of user stories in the product backlog to a definition of ready agreed with the development team, and for their sequential prioritisation according to the business context, roadmap and agile best practice.

You will act as Product Marketing Manager and be responsible for the definition of product marketing materials, working closely with the marketing and partnerships teams to ensure key benefits are clearly communicated.

You will lead a regular review of competitors’ products and help to shape product strategy.

You will contribute to a quarterly strategy review and help shape the next quarter’s operating plan to align company resources behind common objectives.

Initially you will be working with an external development team but will help to recruit an in-house development team from early 2022 onwards.

You will lead and manage all user acceptance testing.

You help to recruit further product team members as Co Charger grows.

You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders including users, marketing, partnerships and development.
Responsibilities

You must be able to demonstrate previous success taking a B2C/B2B apps to market.
-
You will have at least 10 years experience working in product development / management roles.
-
You will have strong requirements definition and prioritisation skills, including the ability to balance considerations such as user feedback and experience, business priorities, competitive and industry context, PR and marketing needs, and overall product sustainability and stability.

You will be driven, self-starting, well organised, and a clear communicator with experience of fast paced start-up environments.

You will be excited by the opportunity to create truly disruptive products and play a central role in growing a EV charging company from the ground up.

You will have excellent stakeholder management capabilities and experience – especially in being an effective product owner to a technical development team.

You will be technically proficient using a range of product management tools including back log management, competitor analysis, and acceptance testing.

You will have an interest in sustainability, clean energy, emobility, electric vehicles, or air clean air.

You’ll have a great sense of humour, be inclusive, inspiring and understanding.
