Description

Attracts and sources both internal and external candidates to create a talent pipeline in anticipation of company needs.

Monitors and reports on staffing levels throughout the company.

Promotes job opportunities through all channels including, but not limited to: company website, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Twitter, Indeed, local colleges and universities, job fairs, job boards, networking, cold-calling, and restaurant hiring events.

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, colleges, recruiters, media, and internet sites; provides information about our company opportunities and benefits.

Coaches restaurant managers on proper sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding techniques to maintain proper staffing and to maintain consistency for the team member acquisition process.

Manages an efficient and high-quality recruiting program that minimizes the use of outside recruiters.

Coordinates the recruiting process for all Managers for the restaurants, Home Office, Call Center and Catering Office candidates: reviews resumes, screens applicants via Zoom, makes qualified suggestions to hiring managers, and arranges interviews in a timely fashion. Evaluates candidates by reviewing job requirements and applicant qualifications. Tracks all candidates under consideration and reports to business partners.

Promotes our company’s brands by communicating the company culture and history and by emphasizing benefits and perks.

Certifies that recruiting and employment actions are in compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures.

Writes job offers in coordination with hiring managers for Managers in the restaurants, Home Office, Call Center and Catering Office positions. Verifies offer is within approved requisition parameters. Delivers offer to the candidate.

Coordinates the onboarding of new team members including, but not limited to, background checks, hiring through the HRIS system, ensuring all onboarding requirements are met, I-9 verification, ordering of necessary equipment, request for IT access point and equipment set up, scheduling (and in some cases, delivering) orientation, and coordinating with Training to arrange the training schedule. Works with Sr. Manager of Training & Development to ensure a smooth transition with the hiring manager and compliance with training expectations.

Develops, maintains, and supports a business partnership with the restaurant operations teams and the home office team, serving as a team member advocate, cultural ambassador, subject matter expert, innovator, and consultant.

Runs the company referral bonus program and reports earned bonuses to payroll and operators. Promotes the program through celebration and recognition.

Conducts team member engagement surveys and provides reporting to senior leadership.

Performs timely exit interviews and monitor for trends. Monitors team member-level exit surveys and reports on trends to operations management and company leadership.

Provides on-site Human Resources support and visibility within our restaurants, ensuring we are supporting all team members in the field and work environments.

As a member of the People & Culture Team, completes other duties as assigned.

Proven work experience as a restaurant in-house recruiter.

At least 1-2 years in a similar role. Restaurant management experience a plus. BA/BS degree required.

Passionate, fun, positive, and results-oriented. Driven by accomplishment with minimal direction.

Able to use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, ATS system and payroll systems (Paylocity) proficiently. Familiar with social media recruiting and other job sourcing.

Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written at all levels within the organization. Fluent bilingual Spanish/English, both spoken and written, preferred.

Extremely organized and detail-oriented.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Able travel on to our restaurants and company home office, which will require use of your vehicle on company time. Must maintain an excellent driving record.
