Assistant Accountant

Description

  • Reviewing of weekly payments, bank reconciliations and sales invoices.
  • Reviewing payroll journals and updating the filing system.
  • Ensuring that all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
  • Reviewing and approving of month-end inventory.
  • Preparing monthly vessel accounting.
  • Preparing depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals.
  • Communicating with vessel Hotel Managers.
  • Acquiring a sound understanding of different VAT jurisdictions.
  • Liaising with auditors during the audit process.
  • Assisting with managing a team.

Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates with notable communication and leadership skills. Candidates with at least three years of working experience in a similar role, who is in the process of obtaining their ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply.
