Bilingual Payroll Advisor

Description

Conduct research and provide accurate and verifiable information and guidance to corporate team members.

Assist in cross training colleagues and respond to customized payroll training requests.
-
Respond to a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails.
-
Facilitate Training seminars and webinars for professional development and corporate training.
-
Update and maintain corporate training programs.
-
Contribute written pieces to publications, periodicals, articles and reports.
-
Maintain company website.
-
Additional relevant Bilingual Payroll Advisor duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
-
Fluency in French and English, written and verbal required (will be tested).
-
Post secondary Degree or Diploma in a related discipline.
-
Must have Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and have or be enrolled in Payroll Manager Certification (CPM).
-
7+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist.

Experience in delivering adult education and training.
-
Experience in using an Integrated Management Information System (iMIS).
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Superior precision and attention to detail.
-
Proven ability to professionally handle confidential information.
-
Advanced organizational, coordinative and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively for self and others, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

Proven ability to respond to sensitive matters with tact, discretion, and excellent judgement. Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional representation of the organization.

Demonstrated successful experience of prioritizing work, making decisions and communicating with others within a values framework of respect, equity, diversity and inclusivity.

Ability to commute to and work onsite at our Client's secure, Toronto location.

Satisfactory CPIC Criminal Background Check, Accreditation Verification and Employment References.

Satisfactory COVID Clearance and completion of Ontario government provided Health and Safety and AODA online courses prior to start.
