Description
Our client is a global leading data and analytics software and solutions provider. As a result of growth, they are looking for a Melbourne based Account Director, working with an existing portfolio of strategic, high value accounts in the Melbourne Telco & Utilities verticals sectors.
Key responsibilities will include:

Portfolio management - tier 1/2 Telco & Utilties accounts in southern region

New business development and account management
-
Managing senior level relationships
-
Developing profitable new relationships across multiple business units (finance, risk, operations, business) and up to C level
-
Development of a strategic account plans
-
Commercial and legal contractual negotiations
-
Managing internal and external resources to include presales staff, consultants, subject matter experts, specialists and implementation/delivery
Responsibilities
-
Previous history of success working in an enterprise solution sales environment, preferably tech/SaaS/Fintech or Banking

Proven new business hunting and senior level relationship management skills
-
Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Extremely consultative approach to business sales - experience of short to long sales cycles, intangible solutions and ROI based selling

Experience of dealing at multiple levels within target clients - C level, Business, Finance Operations, Sales, Marketing etc. This is not an IT/technology pitch, it's operational & business outcomes focused

A proven history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets over a number of years/roles
